Privacy Policy concerning the protection of personal details
To use the PlayinStar site and the services offered on the Site by
Visiware, a public limited company, with a capital of 2,530,154.58
euros, registered with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés of
Nanterre number [RCS B 395132947], head office based at 2, rue Troyon,
92310 Sèvres France (hereafter referred to as Visiware, the player is
required to provide Visiware with their personal data.
The setting up of an account and the use of all the functions and
Services imply full acceptance of the present Privacy Policy by the
player.
1. Aims
Privacy Policy aims to define the commitments concerning Visiware,
responsible for the processing, respecting the personal details
concerning the players, collected and processes when using the Site and
Services in the conditions as defined in the Terms and Conditions.
2. Collected Data
The player must provide the Data required when registering in the
mandatory fields on the forms indicated as username, E-mail and
password, to use all the functions and Services proposed on the Site.If
the player does not fill in these fields, the account cannot be set up
and the player may not use all the functions and Services. The fields
on the form/Register.aspx not marked with an asterisk (*) are optional.
3. Purposes of data processing
By setting up an account, or by using the Services, the player can
choose to communicate the Data for the following purposes:participation
in games involving money (in particular crediting the account, viewing
the account balance and participation history and winnings);receiving
the Site Newsletter; transferring Data to third parties (commercial
partners) for supplying a service or advantage requested;the transfer
of Data to commercial partners for statistical purposes;participation
in chats or social networks.
4.Destination of data
The Data may be transferred to commercial companies for purposes
selected by the player and for making statistical analyses, if the
player accepts. Visiware informs the player that their details may be
transferred, hired out or used by third parties. It will ensure, as far
as is possible, that this data is not used improperly and that the
player does not receive improper proposals of any type which are
contrary to accepted standards of good behaviour or legislation in
force. Visiware may propose players access to third-party sites or the
participation in specific loyalty or commercialization programmes, or
any other activities on a third party site or programme. In this case,
Visiware cannot be held responsible for the activities of these third
parties and advises its players to carefully read the conditions of
participation and refer to these in order to exercise their rights.
Should the player not accept the transfer of their Data, this may, in
certain cases, prevent them from benefiting from all functions and
Services. In the event the player is a minor, parental consent
concerning the transfer of the aforementioned Data is required. In
exceptional circumstances, Visiware may have to disclose this Data if
required to do so by legal authorities (in the case of fraudulent
gaming activity, in particular).
5. Data conservation
Data is conserved by Visiware for the duration which is strictly
necessary for carrying out the purposes as described above. Beyond this
time, they shall be conserved purely for statistical purposes and shall
never be divulged for whatever purpose. Visiware is also obliged to
conserve data enabling the identification of players publishing content
in order to send this data to the relevant authorities if requisitioned
by the courts, all third parties excluded, in compliance with the
legislation in force.
6. Player’s rights
The player has a right to access, rectify, delete and oppose their own
Data. If the player wishes to view the Data they have provided to
Visiware, cancel their registration to all or part of their Services,
to the newsletter or any other service, they may send this request by
E-mail to: client@playinstar.com including their username and full
name; or by letter to Visiware / PlayinStar, 2 rue troyon 92310 Sèvres.
The player may also demand their Data be corrected, completed,
clarified, updated or deleted, if they are incorrect, incomplete,
ambiguous or outdated, by sending an E-mail or letter to the same
addresses. In addition, the player has the right to refuse that their
Data be processed or transferred in the conditions as described in the
Privacy Policy by sending an E-mail or letter to the same addresses.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files sent to the browser and saved on the computer’s
hard drive. A cookie cannot identify the player. However, it records
information concerning the computer’s browsing activities on the Site
(pages viewed, date and time viewed etc.) that Visiware may read on
subsequent visits. The computer shall keep an identification code in
the cookie.The cookie only conserves the identification code in its
memory and not any other personal information concerning the player.The
identification code is stored on the computer for a duration of six (6)
months.The use of cookies facilitates management on the Site by
allowing it to recognize the player’s IP address in order to register
them more rapidly on the site when making subsequent visits, for
statistical purposes and to measure audience share; in order to offer a
service which is as customized as possible.The player wishing to
register on the Site may oppose the insertion of cookies but that may
change the way the Site works on their computer because they enable
Services and content accessible on the Site to be customized. The use
of cookies is very common on the Internet. However, you may oppose
their insertion by setting the preferences in your browser so cookies
are no longer accepted.You may block "cookies" by configuring your

For Safari : select the ‘Safari’ tab, the ‘Preferences’, then
click on ‘Security’, click on ‘Display cookies’;select the
cookies and click on ‘Delete’ or ‘Delete all’, after deleting the
cookies, click on ‘Finish’.
For Google Chrome: select ‘Options’ in the drop down menu ‘Customize’;
click on the ‘Advanced options’ tab; select required ‘Cookie settings’
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 The parties agree they may exchange information required for
carrying out the Privacy Policy electronically.
Any communication by electronic means between parties is deemed to have
the same force of conviction as on paper.
8.2 The fact that one of the parties does not exercise a breach
by the other party for any one of their obligations defined in
the Privacy Policy shall not be interpreted as a waiver of the
obligation in question.
8.3 In the event of invalidity of a stipulation in the Privacy Policy
if this stipulation was deemed unwritten, in its entirety or part
thereof, in the application of a law or a regulation or following a
definitive jurisdictional decision, the other stipulations shall remain
in force and preserve their full mandatory force between the parties.
The parties shall then negotiate in good faith and agree on terms of a
new stipulation which shall replace the stipulation concerned while
staying close to the original intention of the parties.
8.4 Visiware reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy and shall
inform the user by E-mail or by publication on the Site.
9. Applicable law
The Privacy Policy is subject to French law.
